Chemical fire pump sound insulation cover

The working principle of a sound insulation cover is to enclose the noise source in a small space to reduce the noise it radiates to the outside. It usually adopts a multi-layer sound insulation structure, such as metal plate + sound-absorbing material + damping layer. It blocks the outward propagation of noise through the metal plate reflecting sound waves, the sound-absorbing material absorbing sound energy, and the damping layer suppressing the vibration of the plate components.

Performance Requirements;

Sound Insulation: According to the noise reduction target, the sound insulation enclosure should have corresponding sound insulation capacity, generally reducing noise by 15-30 decibels. For low-frequency noise, a composite structure of "damping layer + high-density " can be adopted, while for medium and high-frequency noise, it can be treated by lining with porous sound-absorbing materials. 

Environmental Resistance: The chemical environment has characteristics such as corrosiveness and high temperature. The surface of the sound insulation enclosure shell needs to be sprayed with epoxy resin or fluorocarbon coating to improve corrosion resistance. In high-temperature scenarios, the lining should be made of temperature-resistant materials.
