A fan sound insulation cover

The fan sound insulation cover mainly adopts the principle of resistive noise elimination with microperforated panels. When sound waves propagate in porous sound-absorbing materials, they will cause vibrations of the fibers in the porous materials or the air molecules in the gaps. Due to the effects of friction and viscous resistance, part of the sound energy is converted into heat energy and dissipated, thereby attenuating the sound waves to achieve the purpose of noise elimination.

Structural Composition

 
Shell: Usually made of metal materials such as galvanized iron sheets, aluminum sheets, or stainless steel sheets with a thickness of 1.5-2mm, which has certain strength and durability. 

Sound-absorbing layer: The inner wall is filled with materials such as polyurethane foam plastic and flame-retardant glass fiber sound-absorbing cotton to absorb sound waves. 

Damping layer: The inner wall of the shell is coated with damping materials, which can reduce the resonance frequency and the radiation of sound waves. 

Sealing system: All mating contact surfaces are sealed with sealing materials such as rubber foam pads to prevent sound leakage.
